There’s no point sugarcoating this and act like a hypocrite, so let’s get straight to it: I hate Bindi Irwin. Okay, okay, maybe “hate” is a strong word. Hell, I don’t even know the kid. But something about her just makes me want to pour acetone all over my TV and then bust out a flamethrower. Of course, I don’t own a flamethrower and my TV is kind of expensive, so I’ll stick to blogging for now.
Today is Bindi’s 11th birthday. I couldn’t give a fuck, but there she was anyway when I opened my laptop, right in the latest news popup app.
Yeah, I’m totally using the most unflattering picture I could possibly find, so what?
She’s kind of like Ned Flanders on crack and I can’t help but cringe as soon as she opens her mouth. Today’s birthday celebration included all the ingredients:
- khaki shirt and bottom
- 80’s pig tails
- cheesy thumbs up pose
- Terri, her pimp mom, to orchestrate the whole thing
- at least one microphone was involved
Mischa Barton apparently finished reading “Hollywood For Dummies” and is now going through the ever so popular insanity phase, as she’s currently being held under psychiatric hold. She already successfully finished the first chapters of the book: partying, somehow getting linked to a Hilton, wearing the fugliest outfits on the daily, getting arrested for DUI, and now, finally, the goal is near: making a fabulous entrance into the loony bin.
Britney’s already done it. And what’s cooler than Britney?
Here’s a brief paraphrased rundown from Access Hollywood:
Barton was placed under an involuntary psychiatric hold by the LA po po and transferred to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Wednesday evening (July 15th 2009).
Authorities had responded to the LA home of the starlet after receiving a non-911 call from her residence around 3 PM. A patrol car responded to the scene and began assisting Barton with a “medical issue”.
She was placed under Section 5150 of the California Welfare and Institutions Code by police and transported to Cedars-Sinai. According to the code, authorities can hold a person involuntarily up to 72 hours if they present a danger to themselves or others, are gravely disabled or suffer from a mental disorder.
Since I actually have a heart, I’ll send her some good vibes through my internet and hope she gets well soon, because she hasn’t gotten to the final chapter of the book yet: the oh so trendy “getting knocked up”. Hang in there, Mischa!
Titled “A place with no name”, which basically sounds exactly like “A horse with no name”.
The song — “A Place with No Name” — sounds similar to the song “A Horse withNo Name” released by the group America back in 1971. We’re told several years ago America’s manager gave his group’s permission for Jackson to record the song, “A Place with No Name” — despite the similarity.
America’s current manager, Jim Morey, who was also Michael’s manager in the late 80’s and early 90’s, tells us, “The band was honored that Michael chose to do their song and they hope it becomes available for all Michael’s fans to hear.”
